Just wanted to share an experience that I had today with my 2010 GTX 155. It was finally above 70 degrees here today, so I decided to fiddle around with my skis. I pulled out the new spark plugs that I bought last fall and was seriously contemplating starting the skis. Instead, I decided to take the cap off the spark plug. Man was it tight. Got some pliers and a 5/8 inch wrench and gave it another try. Oops, twisted off the entire metal rod about halfway down inside the ceramic.
I pulled a spark plug out of the ski and compared the numbers. NGK DCPR8E....just like it's supposed to be. Exactly what the guy at the part store sold me because it's what I asked for.
Well, after a bit of research, I found out that I need the 4339 plug, and not the 4179 plug.
So when changing plugs make sure you get the NGK DCPR8E 4339 plugs with the threaded top.
Hope someone can benefit from this.
