I just bought a 3D 2005 with electric issues today.
I have been doing some troubleshooting as follows.
Removed and charged the battery. Now on 12,7VDC
Removed cleaned and remounted the starter relay. Was some oxide but not much.
Found a broken 20A fuse feeding the VCM. Changed the fuse fuel pump started and some noise from different locations.
Fuse blow within a minute and a little smoke was seen from below the starter relay.
Removed the left round connector as well as all fuses except the injectors (3A)
Put a new 10A fuse in. some buzzing noice in the VCM and the fuse blow after about a minute.
Any ideas of what can be wrong?
