3 or 4 wire DESS ?

I have a 1996 GSX. The DESS post needs to be replaced. Can anyone tell me if I need to order a 3 or 4 wire Dess Post ( without me having to tear apart the box and making a mistake anyway)?

The schematic (in the shop manual) will show the number of wires and parts manual will give the seadoo part number. They are available at seadoomanuals.net.
