How do you guys feel about riding around in 55-60 degree water with an engine that doesn't have a lot of hours on it? I was told to avoid water under 65 or so until the engine got some hours on it (80-90 hrs)

Hey whos your mechanic? I'm up here in Muskegon. Are you talkin about Greg Sands over in Sring Lake area? I need to have a SBT motor installed.

I didn't know anyplace had water in the 50's and 60's.....just spent the weekend at Anna Maria / Bradenton, FL....water temp read 92+ all weekend.. but relative to your question from a thermodynamic reference you should have a thermostat that will keep it between 160 and 180 degrees............
