I just Winterized my Seadoo, I noticed when I would remove the key I would get a long beep and the Battery Icon lit up. I looked in the manual and the Service manual that I just bought and all I see is Low/High Voltage. I took the battery to Advance Auto and had it checked and all they saw was that it needed to be charged. I just bought a 2 bank charger from Noco 2Amp per bank. I hooked it up and it took a while and the next day it showed a fully charged battery. I have unplugged the charger and see if it will hold charge. Just in case I ordered a new battery for next year. Could this be an issue with the battery going bad??

Thank you in advance for the responses.

If you haven't been keeping it on a battery maintainer in the past 2 years, then it has been slowly depleting all that time. My understanding is if your battery is at 80% charge and you ride, it will simply maintain the 80%; it won't charge to 100%.

So, as time passes, the charge slowly drops.

Keeping it on a battery maintainer (not charger) will improve battery life.

Thank you, I have been keeping them on a maintainer, maybe not as often as I should. I will be keeping them on the new charger maintainer now for sure.
