2019 GTX 230 Garmin Echomap 73sv Install

Hi,

I am sure this has been discussed repeatedly but I cannot find answers to my specific questions.


- Has anyone run the transducer cable without drilling a hole?

- Anyone mounted the Garmin to the hood in front of the gauge display? Anyone see an issue with this location? I have a RAM mount.

- Is an extra battery required to run the Garmin?

Think that is it.
