2015 3up spark only does 37mph.

EDIT: SPARK PLUGS FIXED THIS ISSUE.
I just bought a 2015 3up spark. Top speed is 37 mph. It feels like driving a Pinto. Its my first 4 stroke. Am I missing something? It has 30 hours on it. The wear ring and impeller look fine. No check engine indications. Any ideas?

You can't just "look" at an impeller and the wear ring to proclaim they look "fine"......try actually measuring the gap distance between the impeller blades and the wear ring....should be in the 1 MM clearance range. Gappage between the two will dimish your speed considerably.......also check to make sure there is nothing wrapped around the drive shaft, input grate blockage, etc......

HOW does the engine sound....full power, revs OK???? Have you tried to do a compression test on the cylinders?

Did it ever get up to top speed with the bad plugs? Mine did for a bit but came back down

Shot straight to 50mph. No issues afterward.

Nah I mean did you ever get to top speed while the old plugs were in? And how long did you ride on them?

I rode for about 10 minutes. No top speed with the bad plugs. I went to the trailer and went home. I changed the plugs before taking it out again. No issues after that.
