Got around to replacing battery and doing oil change thinking this might solve problem. Went to start again and nothing. It has the very beginning of a start sound then it just sounds like it locks up. When I hit start and hold it , I can see dash dim a bit so I know power is going to the correct spots, but it feels like something is locking it up. It says limp mode on screen but no other messages or warnings. Guess its possible it is stuck in limp mode and needs reset, but not sure. I have read about a number of issues (i.e. oil pump failure, something stuck in impeller (which I cant visibly see anything), driveline stripped (which would make noise I would think), but aside from taking to dealer to get code read, not sure where else to look. Any help greatly appreciated.
