This is my 3rd gti in 3 years never had an issue with the 2009 or the 2010 always ran smooth. Took out the new 2013 gti today & noticed a vibration as soon as I started it. Still felt it in "n" & "r", in or out of the water. seems to go away around 20 MPH. No sure if this is normal or not. Has anyone else notice this before I bring it back to the dealer & have them look at it?

i used to get crazy vibration if i got a small string sucked up into the impeller also..

Yup check the pump, mine had a piece of yarn that messed me up, took it to the dealer since it was my first ski I had no idea wtf was wrong. Tech admitted that he missed it and didn't check the pump for debris.

I have a similar issue with vibration. Took it back to dealer they confirmed that the engine was out of alignment. Replace the carbon ring align engine under warranty and vibration issue fixed.

How bad is this vibration? Mine vibrates a bit when idling but not sure if it's normal. Just using the learning key for the break-in period. With the learning key it seems to max out @ 35MPH at around 5700 RPM (does that sound about right ?)
All that sounds normal.

Would also love to hear from someone that has one of these so that I know what to expect for top speed and RPM's with the regular key in so that I know that it's performing as it should.

Top speed in my buddies gts 130 is 54... Literally never saw 55 on the speedo but it sure does get up to speed rather quickly. Rpms I'm not sure about

Yea that's about right. My 03 GTX DI was around 53-54ish.

My '011 GTI 130SE's top speed according to my Garmin GPS 76 is 54.5 mph. Speedometer indicates 54/55 mph, so I've found both to be accurate in my case.

Going back to the dealer with it after 10 hours. Vibration is still there. checked the pump, impeller all clear.
My 13 has the built in gps for the speed. Flat water got it up to 56 mph. This was a quick test, still doing break in so did not hold it more than a few seconds. Thanks for all the input. I'll post what the dealer tells me.

How do You like docking with the electronic reverse? I hate it, takes about 2 seconds to respond.

I really like the steering assist when in neutral while docking. The reverse doesn't seem to have any lag on my machine.

Just flipping thru my guage menu. Is there no lake water temp/coolant temp reading available on the new GTI ? My 12yr old GTX had it.
Guess I am too old school & like feel of using a little reverse instead of full reverse & full foward. Always found it usefull when docking while fighting the tide

Had the same thing happen to a new GTI130SE Ski this week.Light Vibration on first run . Less than 5 Hours. Was cruising at 20 and lost Jet Drive. No signs of debris in Jet. Max out at 5mph. Horrific Vibration. At Dealer Now.
