I was at the lake yesterday and managed to flip over the jetski.. The person j was with was panicking so he couldn't help me flip back over the jetski so it was upside down for like 1 minute (engine was off as soon as we fell off) I waved for help and another jetski owner came over to help and helped me push it down on the right as it states on the sticker on the back of the jetski. We managed to flip it back over and the guy told me to run the jetski for you to get all the water out? I didn't seem how that would work but j didn't want to try it. He kept telling me to drive it so it can push all the water out.. I turned the jetski on and white smoke was coming out, I drove it to shore (wasn't far) and the transmission light turned on (check engine) I revered my truck with the trailer, pullled in the jetski and took it out of the water. I opened the tops from the back and water was pouring for a good 10 minutes. Finally all the water is out and I turn the ski on (sounds normal) I put the ski back in the lake and now it only runs up to 5 mph. It doesn't run over 5 mph.
I need help guys.

I flipped my brand new ski the second or third time I had it on the water. Wasn't even being crazy on it....sitting still and took a wave wrong and my passenger leaned the wrong way. Mine was upside down for maybe 30 secs while I swam to it and got in position. Once I had it upright I fired it up and same white smoke you mentioned happened with mine. I revved it up a few times and it seemed fine so kept riding. Haven't noticed any ill effects really so I can't help much there. But maybe someone else here can chime in on what you should do. Good luck!
