How can I check the wear ring and impeller on this? Can't see anything with the IBR down. Is there a way to raise it? Thanks

Pull the pump.

You can see the wear ring thru the intake grate. Also, if you want the IBR to be in the UP position, do the following,
1) Depress the start stop button and put your key in the dess post.
2) Depress the "mode" button until you get to settings
3) Depress the " Set button" I believe the first entry is "IBR Override"
4) Depress the "Arrow up" to select "on" and hit set.
5) Keep depressing the " Arrow up button until the IBR lever is all the way up. Then remove your lanyard. It will stay up.

Thanks, I saw the IBR override in mode but must have missed a few steps. Your description should do it.

What exactly do you want to check? If they're still there?...something in there?...clearance?

If it's the latter...good luck going through the grate or nozzle.

I will be able to see wear ring and impeller for nicks etc. At least I was able to on my previous Yamaha ride
