Hello,

because my red start button looks really bad after 150hours i would like to replace them.

Can someone tell me how to remove the button?
I saw it is possible to order the button as a spare part from seadoo.

Thx, axel

Yes. It is easy. I replaced mine just before this season.

The button is located in a plastic housing that has a tab on the top. On the bottom is a small slot that will take a screwdriver blade. Insert the blade into that slot and slowly turn. The housing will pop off.

Remove the old cover, insert the new cover, put the upper part of the housing in first, then tap it with your hand til it clicks in place.

Literally 2 minutes.

Thank you!

But replacing the Sport/Eco or Mode/Set Buttons on a 2012 GTI is more expensive I think, because you have to replace the whole Electrical Switch.

The red start/stop rubber button cover is about 7$, but the Sport/Eco or Mode/Set Buttons are about 75$ - Right?

Seadoowarehouse.com is a sponsor of this site. If you go there, you can look up the part numbers for your ski. I have a 2011 GTI LTD 155. I have s red start button and a gray cruise button.
