2011 gts 130 driveshaft

The output shaft splines to the pump the splines wore down and stripped when we were an hour away if doing at least 50.
This machine only has 200 hours on it.
Is this normal wear?
 
The Sparks were stripping the splines on the other end when they first came out. Not normal wear on the impeller end. Loose pump bolts can cause it or impeller boot installed incorrectly with no grease. Water can get between shaft and impeller and freeze in storage expanding and cracking impeller splines which then strips the shaft splines. Probably replace impeller and wear ring while your there.

When the wear ring and impeller were installed the impeller got loose. But the driveshaft had i thought excessive up down and side to side movement.
