I just bought a 2009 GTI 155SE with 49 hours on it. It was serviced in October and has not been run until now. It was a little hesitant to start and I am only getting a top speed of 35 to 40. (I have the correct key inserted)
When I pull the throttle, it feels like it is hesitating and then going and then hesitating and then going. It is not a smooth acceleration.
It was also displaying a 12V Low message.
I have charged the batter overnight but have not had a chance to test it.
1. Could the 12V Low be causing this hesitation and lack of performance?
2. Could it be bad gas from sitting?
3. What else should I consider checking?
Also, I have a 2007 GTX 155 Wake edition. Other than the "wake" portion, I am wondering what the difference in the two models are?
