I own 3 sea doo's but they are older ones (97 gsx,98 gtx and 99 gsx) . so now I am looking to get into a new one.
I have been looking at a 2008 rxt. X. it has 130 hours with cover but no trailer. They don't know if the super charger has been serviced. Asking price $5700

So now my questions,
Will this machine be stable at idling speeds with two people riding it and not unstable like my gsx.

Does the supercharger need to be serviced every 100 hours

Also the asking price of $5700 is this a fair price

Thanks

Yes, there is a drastic difference in hull size between the GSX and RXTX. You will feel much more stable.

The SC should be rebuilt every 2 years or 100 hours. We have a service that is $425 where we do a complete rebuild for you. Check out the supercharger rebuild service on PWCMuscle.com

That's what I though about the sc.
Thanks

I own a 2010 GTX and an 09 RXT-X. Both skis are VERY stable. You can stand on the side lip, grab the handle bar, lean out as far as you can, and the ski just rolls a bit. I have never rolled a ski yet. I have thrown myself off the ski,,, but the skis are nothing short of fantastic...

Unless the PO can prove the SC was rebuilt, you MUST assume it has not been. I would offer him pretty much what he is asking minus the cost of the SC rebuild. Nothing to lose by trying...
