When Sea Doo just sits in the water, it takes on about 15 gallons of water in 24 hours. It would sink if I left it in any longer. When I run the boat water will pump out. I have looked and felt everywhere I can reach, but cannot find water coming in. I took back to dealer, they said they put boat in test tank for 3 days and no leak. I took it back to lake , drove it 2 miles, then let it sit for 24 hours. 15 gallons of water in the boat. Did not leak putting in test tank, but must start some sort of siphoning as a result of motion across the water.Dealer says they cant fix when they dont find anything broke. PLEASE HELP. (yes, the plugs were in tight.)

I'm gonna be nice!

First of all, I'd like to say welcome to our forum. We always love to see new members. I only wish you were a member and coming in to tell us how happy you are with your Wake edition. First off, I got a couple comments to make.
If this is the 2007 Wake edition with the twin 1503 supercharged 4-TEC engines in it........................I'm so flustered I can't even right this post.

Please go to the top right hand side of your page. There you will see a box that says "private messages".....click on that box. I can't answer this in a post at the moment. I'm going to send you a personal message.

O.K.....

That's what I hate when they use the same name for something. They have the new wake edition PWC and the Speedster Wake edition. I assumed it was the boat because you said 15 gallons water and if I left the boat in the water any longer, it would sink!.......but it is the GTX wake edition?
Well then, that puts a little different twist on it. Here, I'd bet it is probably going to be your bailing tube lines. Make sure they are in there proper configuration to the hull as designed. If the highest point of the tube is at or below the water line, then reverse siphoning will take place causing your hulll to fill with water.

Thanks for imput.

I have already taken Sea Doo back to dealer, so I will call them and suggest they check this. It has already been back there for over a week, and this morning I called them to check status and they have not had time to look at it again yet, but said they have contacted factory technical support and factory said they did not have a clue what could be going on, but to put it back in the tank and try again.

Cool!

With it being practically new, there doesn't seem to be a reason for this to be happening, unless there's something that went wrong during manufacture. Like where the two halves come together. Or like I said earlier, the carbon ring or the bailing tubes.........
Let us know what you find out. I'll be curious to know what happened.
Again, welcome to the forum.

have you ever had the waverunner in salt water? because i brought my gtx di and rx di down to FL last year and then brought them up to chicago for the summer. Docked them in the water infront of my boat came back week later they were under water. Plugs were in what everything was find. But i found out that the salt water broke the seals around the plugs all i did way really sillacone them and it was fine.

Salt water...

Although the Seadoo's are designed with ocean riding in mind, they need to be washed down with fresh water after a ride.
You say you put silicone on your plugs.....if it works for you, good fix. Did you check your shaft seal? Also, if your model has the bailing tubes, check to see that they are still mounted according to factory specifications.
Hate to hear they were underwater. I hope there wasn't any lasting damage. Going under is bad but there is a procedure for cleaning out a submerged engine that pretty much puts the engine back in good shape. Most all your electricals are sealed.
Good luck!
