Hey, I was out on my gti 155 today and i heard a loud click when i turned, and then i noticed that my reverse lever was automatically pulling itself up when i gave it throttle, i tried adjusting up the reverse bucket at the back but this did nothing. Any ideas on how i could fix this problem??

Isn't it supposed to lift up to allow u to go forward? It would be in the down possession to allow u to be stationary

The bucket is, but in order to engage reverse you need to lift the lever up, to go forward you push the reverse handle down, but when i give it throttle it starts to automatically put itself in reverse

Mine did this a while ago. WHen I got it out of the water for a good look I noted that the bolts holding the jetunit together had broken (snapped) and the water was then coming out between the joints.

Check the bolts and also check all bolts are tight in the jet unit.

Ok i'll also check those. We think we solved the problem, the cable that connects the handle and the bucket had came loose causing it not to lock into forward.
Thanks Dave,
