Just wanted to share this as this forum helped point me in the right direction. I bought two slightly used Seadoo's. So far so good, only had to replace batteries as they we're the originals. Walmart $50 each so no worries. I was out on the RXP all weekend and towards the end of the day heading back to the boat launch I hear a loud screetch and no jet. Engine runs and revs up but no go. Towed into a beach and check the intake and the pump visually and nothing there. Towed it in and put on trailer. Spent all Sunday searching google and also looking for a good Seadoo repair shop. I read a post here that said to get a flashlight and visually inspect the pump and see if the wear ring is worn. It looked fine but I notice the jet looked off set. I looked at my other Seadoo and it was completely straight. With further inspections I noticed three bolts missing that hold the pump to the back of seadoo hull. I pulled the remaining bolt and brought it to hardware store and found three of the exact same. Went home put some thread locker on tightened them up and started the seadoo and pump turns fine. Probably the previous owner worked on this one and did not tighten them or they just come lose. Anyone have similar experience?

Did the hull fill with water? Did you do a test ride after the repair? That could have been a very costly mistake.
