Help, my 2007 rxp has 36 hours and ran great last summer. After sitting up for the winter I changed the oil, filter, and plugs and took it out for a run. It appears to have a very slow start out of the hole with limited top end. Last summer it would run 65 mph ++. In an attempt to fix it I replaced the fuel filter and did seem to fix it. Run great at idle and all rpms. Max RPM currently are 6500 -6800. What should I check next? Dealer says its the supercharger! I don't have any fault codes.

Manifold may have an air leak from sitting. Hold a medium throttle and spray alittle
dishsoapy water mix on it. Hold this finds it!

Most likely the supercharger unfortunately. We can help you get up and running though. Take the intake off and see if the supercharger impeller will spin freely. That's a sure sign that it's toast.

This is a pretty common problem on the supercharged 4-tecs. Search a bit and you'll find others with the same issues.

Get back to us and we'll help you go from there.

No seal you need to worry about. It's just the intake, not the intake manifold. You need to get to the supercharger impeller.

Cool I'll check it out. I've been looking throught alot of threads on this forum and have seen people are checking there rave valve. Do you agree this could also be something to look into?

Rave valves are 2-stroke technologies. This doesn't apply to your engine.

tip over switch

After the jetski has been tipped over a ‘tip over switch’ will tell the computer to disable the higher RPM range (turbo). If this switch has become faulty and gives this signal to the engine it will never go to the higher RPM range. This switch can be replaced easily. (RXT 215)

Wow I sure hope that's the problem. It seems to be something like that because it still runs good and sounds good and there are no indicator lights flashing. Where can I find this switch in the ski and test it? Also where can I buy a new one?

If it wasn't for the warranty the new SC and install was 800.00. Get a new one if you spending 800.00. Personaly I would just rebuild it myself.
