2007 150 Speedster bilge pump

I seem to have an issue with the bilge pump fuse blowing constantly. Both three amp fuses seem to blow. When I replace the fuses the bilge pump works just fine for a bit but then it seems to stop working and the fuses are blown. I try removing the pump, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how it comes out. I am looking at the writing on the pump that say lock and unlock, but when I unlock it, I certainly do not seem to be able to pull it out of it location. Is there something I’m doing wrong as I cannot seem to be able to budge it out of its location?
