would a bad TOPS switch stop the coils from sparking ? ski will turn over fine but getting no spark. just changed out mpem and ecu that were determined to be bad. TOPS switch down by mpem has/had corroded pins.

I know if you have the throttle wide open, it will not start, but whether it shuts off injectors or plugs, I'm not sure. It's for diagnostics. I put a resistor in my TOPS and blocked it off as I suspected it of problems. Mine's on a boat, and if it flips, I have bigger problems than oil leaking into my intake lol
