2006 GTI Gauges

My Digital Gauges on my 2006 GTI will light up when I put the key on and the Tach will show zero. However, the right gauge that has the speedometer and fuel gauge goes out. Any suggestions on what's happening?

Okay....I actually got to spend some time on my Seadoo last night and noticed that the fuel gauge is working, however the speedometer isn't. It doesn't even show up in the display. Any ideas?

It doesn't have a speedometer.... I own the exact same ski. They install the gauge, but not the actual instrument that calculates the speed of the seadoo. I thought my speedometer and fuel gauge were not working either at first... The fuel gauge goes down really slow for the first 1/8 of the tank. I was bummed too when I figured that out, but then I rode it for a while and all my sorrows went away
