2005 Speedster 200 access engine compartment

Hi, Im trying to open the engine compartment but I think it is stuck.
I open the passenger front storage, I pull the thing there (lot of resistance)
Then I try to open the cover I highlighted in the attached pic, but can't open. Any help?
Im selling it as I dont give it the use but I want to check everything before.

It is a two man job or you can wedge something under the hood pull inside front storage. Also the handle you are referring to is the handle to help you get out of the water and will do little to open the hood. Open the top sun deck hatch and push engine hood toward back of boat. You don't really need to open the hood to get to the engine just take the compartment cover inside sun deck hatch off and you are there. Hope this makes sense..

Thank you ! I checked them, but theirs arent the original and need to drill the boat.

Not sure, mine has a label on it from XTP xtremetowers.com serial number 55523. Might try them.

It took me several years to realize that the T-handle release in the passenger front compartment can be twisted to lock the release in the open position not requiring 2 people when the latch is finicky. The cable and latch can be adjusted once you get it open to make it easier in the future.
