2005 rxt loud growling noise

When i started the ski out of the water very loud growling noise, any help would be appreicated.

Does it do the noise in the water? Sometimes the driveshaft makes a slapping/groaning noise when there is no load on the impeller.

Mine does the same. In the water it is fine - out of the water, there is a pretty decent rattle. Seems there is play by design in the driveshaft - that seems to be where the noiseis coming from.
