2005 RXP won't Start

I just charged up the battery on my 2005 RXP and went to try and start it and it Beeped then it ticks when you press the start/stop button. What would be the cause of this? Is the battery bad or is it some other electrical issue? Thanks in advance for any thoughts

Check the voltage on the battery. In years past, I too charged a battery and thought all was well, then tried to start and nothing but a beep.

You can also have it tested and NAPA or pretty much any auto supply store for that matter.

Looks like the battary is toast....Ordered a new one so we'll see if this is the fix or if there will be any other problems. Thanks for the reply.
