2005 GTX Won't run above 6000 RPM after broken motor mounts

Hello all:

The motor mounts broke on our 2005 GTX. Engine was flooded with water after mounts broke. Cleaned all the water out of the oil. Took the ski to the lake at it will only reach 5900-6000 RPM with a top speed of 43 MPH. Other than the low RPM and top speed everything seems to be fine. Engine is running well otherwise. Any ideas?

ALSO... RPMs are fine if I just hook it up to a hose and run it out of the water. If I put it in the water the RPMs stop at right under 6K.
