Hi. Hoping for some help. I have a 2005 GTX Supercharged. Right now, problems exist in that the guages don't work and the information display does not seem to stay on when key is attached right from start up.
When I plug the key into the post terminal there is one long beep and the information centre only comes on for a split moment.
The engine will fire up when the start button is pressed with no problem and the information display will only come on for a second or two and display the fuel level and the number of hrs on the seadoo, and then this all disappears. The actual guages (speedometer and RPM) do not move. and the information display then stays off when running.
In addition, when running for a short while there are sometimes a number of short beeps that continue while running, and even after the seadoo is turned off and the key is removed from the terminal. This happened once or twice when I tried turning things on/off and running it for a short while a few times....not always, but a couple times.
I have checked all the fuses and they seem to be in working order.
I have tried the learner key as well, and the same result occurs, so does not seem to be a 'key' issue.
In looking at the reference guide, this seems to be a possibility of 3 or more issues, so I am a bit lost. Not sure if there is a problem with the terminal post, electrical, wire connections, etc.?????
Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks!
