2005 gti le rfi hard to start when hot

Hello, Im having problems with my GTI RESTARTING AFTER HOT. It runs fine while riding but then when you idle when hot it feels like a intermittent miss then when shut off won't restart till it cools down. Turns over fine and tries to start but won't. Usually Takes 15- 20 min and starts up and runs fine. I've cleaned all electrical connections for any corrosion. Will a crank position sensor go open circuit And cause this when hot? Anyone have any recommendations/ideas? Thanks, Robert

check fuel pressure, pump & rails may need cleaned.

I know the fuel rail and injectors are clean. Haven't checked the pump yet, I will do that tonight. Are there any other online filters besides the screen on the bottom of the pump? Thanks for the info , I'll update my progress
