dealership says i need a new speedometer and says the tach is acting up.. cost 800 to fix both.. my tach seems to be working fine to me and i found a new speedometer for 200 and it looks simple to install.. easy access for sure.. is it as easy as i think it is?

are you sure the speedometer itself is the problem? or is it the probe on the back of the boat?

I've got exactly the same boat and both gauges are not working on mine. It looks like a piece of cake to just unplug the dead gauge and reconnect the new one.

The biggest problem is coughing up $200 each for the new gauges. :ack:
