I see there are these wakeboard tower mirrors that clamp onto the wakeboard tower. Wouldn't one of these work on the tubes for my bimimi top? The only other mirror I can find attaches to the side of the console and although it seems like it would work fine, there really isn't a lot of room to spare in a Sportster.

Other than the diameter of the bimini is a fraction of the tower diameter. The mirror we have attached on our tower is a solid piece of aluminum. So it has some weight to it. I would not want to attach it to a bimini with any expectation of it staying there even if it could be rigged to work.

You could look into a smaller mirror. Maybe a mirror that attached with a Ramball? I found some ATV/Dual Sport mirrors that attach to a Ramball. I wanted to put it on my snowmobile so that I could take it off easily. You could then use a U-clamp style ram ball.

The only issue with that, is the mirror is the size of a round (Lollypop) motorcycle mirror. The size of the mirror is what is limiting you. Wakemakers or some of the other wake shops like Barts may have some options. I see some alternative clamps on Barts site.

Good luck!

The whole reason I would even want a mirror is that there is one seat in the 4-tec that faces the rear where a spotter is supposed to be watching the water-skier/towable, etc... When we go out, it is usually me, my wife, and our 4 year old. I never get towed because I can't use my 4 year old as a reliable spotter in case something happens to me. I also can't use my wife as a reliable driver. ;)

I saw this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/KRYPT-UNIVE...094?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35d4d1b5fe

It says that the clamp will fit 1 1/2", 1 5/8, 1 3/4", 1 7/8", 2", 2 1/4", 2 3/8", or 2 1/2" wakeboard towers. I don't know why there isn't a lightweight mirror with a decent clamp to attach to the bimimi top.
