I have a 2004 speedster with a 130 hp engine and I am having a issue.
The boat runs great for the first 5 minutes or so and after that it has problems coming up to speed. At about 10 MPH the engine races but no acceleration. It feels like the impeller is cavitating. I have replaced the impeller and the wear ring but that made no difference at all. I let the boat sit in the water for a long while then it runs good for 5 minutes then starts giving me trouble again. Any suggestions? The dealer is no help at all.
