2004 seafood gtx supercharged

Let me start from the beginning. Ski starts up fine. After about 2-3 seconds it revs to full throttle, I don’t hit the throttle at all, and then the high temp comes on almost immediately. Also the exhaust muffler is so hot that it’s starting to melt the rubber around it. Any ideas???

Sounds like your engine is "running away", meaning an air leak somewhere in the engine.
