2004 GTX starter relay

My ski was serviced got it totally rewired and wear ring i bring it home and all it does it beep and displays "sensor" I bring it back to see whats wrong and they say its the starter relay. Im not sure if that would trip the check engine light. What do yall think? Is the dealer trying to screw me?

Any ideas? They want to charge $100 to replace the relay but im not sure that is the entire problem
