Just finished putting ski back together and want to know the best way to break in a rebuilt 4-tec SC 185 with new head and all goodies along with forged pistons plus a few extra add ons.

If it were mine I would go easy for the first 5-10 hours. Be real easy the first hour or two. For sure nothing over 3/4 throttle for the first 5 hours or more. After 10 hours I would change the oil. New engine parts wear so you want to get that stuff out! That's just how I would treat a rebuilt 4 stroke. I'm sure somebody will chime in with the scientific way.
