This is my first Seadoo and is one of the best looking that I have owned. The first few trips to the water the boat ran like it was fresh from the factory. The first time the problem occured I was just cruising down river at about 4000 rpm and it was as if a ghost reached up and shut the key off ,no sputter no nuthin. I reached up turned the key and it started as if nothing happened. The shutdowns continue with no ryme or reason (at different rpm and speeds).Every time this has happened it always starts right up as if nothing happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated before my disgust grows. MY SEADOO DON'T

does everything go dead or does the motor just shut off?

If everything goes dead (your gauges as well) I would suspect the ignition switch. If it is just the engine that quits, try the crank sensor. Looks like they are both in the 50-60.00 range.
