2003 sportster LE drive shaft will not turn

Seedoo was stored in garage and once I tried to start the engine it will not turn. Battery is new and I took it to be serviced. The technician checked it out and said that he need it to take the motor apart to determine root cause. He mentioned that it may be water damaged. if this is the case what are the options and what am I looking at cost wise?

Probably a rebuilt engine depending on how bad it's rusted up. Check the prices of SBT rebuilt at pwctoday.com, which come with 1 and 2 year no fault waranties. If you can install it yourself you will save a lot.

How do you know it's the engine? Perhaps it's just the pump. Pull pump and see if engine is free.

How much work is invloved in replacing the rebuild engine myself, as I have not work on a marine engine?
