Hi everyone I'm pretty much new to the forum and to some of them terms or descriptions so bear with me , one of my skies recently has been given me issues where I take it out to the lake and after about maybe running 15 or so minutes it will start to sputter or choke out when I try to ice it throttle but will idle fine , after letting it sit for a few minutes it will run fine and then do it again , I have previously taken it to the shop and after two tries they can't figure out what's wrong with us as it's not throwing a code . Oh and before I forget to mention while the ski does the issue no maintenance light comes on , if any of you have any suggestions or ideas in which can help me diagnose this issue it's greatly appreciated , or if there something I have left out please ask me and I will try and answer

Thanks

Have you checked your fuel vent? If clogged, after about 15 minutes of fuel consumption if no air can come into the system to replace the fuel a vacuum is created. An easy check would be to open your gas cap next time it does this and see if it clears.

Thanks for the suggestion I'll check that next time o go out

Other than that on the DI skis you might have to buy the Candoo scanner. If it is throwing the Maintenance light then it is throwing a code. The dealer should have seen what code it was with their scanner. Honestly most dealers don't want to deal with the 2 strokes and BS their way out of it.

The issue is the ski is not throwing the maintenance light , so they can figure it out

So thru my continue inspection of the ski and all connectors I found that the conector that the black tube connects to is broken , I've looked on the Manuel and can't seem find out what's it's called, maybe this is what's causing the ski to go into LIMP MODE like everyone calls it , any thoughts

That is for the rave valves. It should not cause your issue, as the rave valves open up into the power band around 4500 RPM I believe. I am not sure if this is vacuum based or air pressure based from the compressor on the engine. If it is pressure based, you will loose are pressure for the fuel injectors.

I figure out , it's called the rave solenoid relay and it's air pressure based , thanks for your input

I wanna do a fuel pressure test and was wondering if I can use a fuel injector test kit from auto parts store , any input
