Just rebuilt my 2003 RXDI. Everything was cleaned up real nice. I replaced crankcase and head with used one. It has a new crank and pistons. Same cylinder. I want to note that I did a chamber volume measurement on both cylinders so there is roughly 3 to 4 oz of oil in engine and may be reason for excess smoke.
I hooked a hose to it and started it. It starts right up but its running rough while idling. I give it some throttle and the sound goes away. Again it is smoking a bit too which is because of excess oil.
I've searched this forum and online and haven't found anything related.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
