Have had the coolant hose disconnect while running and alarm go off, not once but two different occasions.
The hose clamps rusted off on each side at the hull in the back on both occasions.
Changed the coolant, installed new ss clamps and back out I went. (I do think it was happening before the coolant issue but cannot recollect actual events to support it, so don't want to rule it out)
Now i have an issue with the oil draining out of the engine SOMEWHERE and puddling in the bottom of the hull. At first I thought it was only when it was being run, but I'm pretty convinced it is running out even as it sits.
I have tried finding the leak simply by getting my arm/hand down in there and running over exterior of engine and even was going to attempt laying a white towell at bottom of hull (after cleaning it real good) and running it to expose the leak, but it is so tight, either method seems to be impossible and I'm unable to find the leak.
Short of pulling the engine out, what else is recommended?
