Changed my oil and filter last week. I used a k & n oil filter and and 3 1/2 qts. Castrol gtx non synthetic 10/40 motor oil. The oil filter cover was plastic and cracked when removing. I replaced it with a new metal cover and o rings. Took ski out today and ran excellant for 2 hrs. Started pulling a tube and oil light came on. Limped to shore and oil level was good and no leaks anywhere. Went back out and did the same thing over and over. Would idle fine but when I went over 3500 rpm it alarmed in. Loaded up and went home. Removed oil filter looking for plugs. Found nothing wrong and no leaks anywhere. Did I do something wrong changing my oil?? It ran great for 2 hrs until the oil light came on. Does it look like I have an oil pressure switch problem or could it be something else. Also Im not getting any codes while the oil alarm is in or after I shut the machine off. Thanks.

Changed the front switch 2 years ago. It threw a trouble code and check engine alarm display if I remember correctly. Looks like it time to change the rear one. thanks
