2002 GTX LOw RPMs
I a have a 2002 GTX 4 TEC. I can only get the engine to rev up to 6400 rpms (digital display) and reach about 45mph. It will rev above 6400 when accelerating out of the hole but then drops back to 6400 when ski gets up to around 45mph. My first thought was someone programmed the DESS as a learner key, but from what I read you should get more than 45 mph with the learner key. This was originally part of a rental fleet which makes me wonder if they configured the key to a rental mode or something similar to this. Any thoughts by any of you more experienced Seadoo owners.
