I have a 2002 Utopia 185 with the 210hp M2 carb engine
When I start ride normally with cold engine boat running perfectly. After 3-4 minutes full throttle ride the boat starts sputtering and I have to let off the throttle and it wont even go past 15mph. It feels like it is starving for gas. Then the rpm-s fluxtuate and bogs. If I shut the boat off for a few mins and then start it back up, it runs again for about 1-2 min. If engine cools down it allow to run again 2-3 mins full throttle. Seems like engine overheating and electronics cut off rpm-s but beeper not give any warning sound.
I checked fuel filter, fuel pump flow, spark plugs, fuel tank air vent – seems OK. Cool engine idle speed is also good. Please help!
