Just got this pwc in the spring. I am at 8400'. Stock motor and impeller. Impeller number is 271000920 or a 15-21. I turn 6350 rpm and 47mph on the speedo. I purchased a Solas dynafly 13-19 and turned 5800 and 42 mph. I just had the stock one repitched to a 16 (that's what the shop said) and it made no difference at all. I had the Solas repitched to a 17 at the same time but have not tried it yet. I read somewhere that the Seadoo oem high altitude impeller is a 271000931. Can anyone confirm this and what the pitch is? Would I be better off starting with this impeller? Should I repitch the stock one even more? Not sure what to do. Don't want to throw more money at impellers if it is not necessary. Any help would be great.

I did a seach with the number you provided as well as the word ALTITUDE and got back MANY hits that state it is a high altitude impeller..

I used google too. Just wondering someone out there had more specific info with tuning these things for high altitude. Like what the pitch is of the high altitude impeller and maybe why I saw no improvement after the re-pitch of the stocker. I know my ski is old and not cutting edge anymore but I would think that with the name of this forum someone should have some experience with this.
