2002 gtx di starting issue

2002 gtx di starts then dies and a relay clicks twice. fresh fuel /new fully charged battery/ all fuses good /no warning light or message on dash/ can hear fuel pump cycle any other checks i can do before taking it in ? has good spark and i see and smell fuel, its rave valve that clicks twice after it dies

Check fuel pressure. If you do take it in, be VERY careful as most shops have no clue how to work on DI's.

Thanks WaarrEagle , i found a few threads and will do the fuel pressure and air pump testing asap and i found a guy close bye with the BUDS scan tool , that was the only thing i was going to have done at a shop

I've found that Candoo and Buds rarely fix these skis. Good old fashion troubleshooting gets it done. I agree, fuel pressure and compression is the first things that need to be checked. Also make sure your air pump lines are connected and there are no leaks. Believe it or not I've found leaks on the fuel rail connections and the repair is simply a 50 cent o-ring. Good Luck !!
