Hi team. My original 4TEC GTX jet pump housing is damaged beyond repair. Would like to find an original 271001288 pump housing to replace it. I have already bought all the new internals ready to rebuild mine, but it's not going to work out. If anyone has one to sell, please tell me your price.
Seems the original 271001288 has been superceded by 267000312. However, one respected performance source advises that installing this later version on the 2002 4TEC will require a longer drive shaft and deeper PTO bearing. That's going to be a pricey repair. Please can someone confirm whether it's a drop in replacement by itself or does the driveline actually need to be replaced also?
