2002 4tec display problems

Two weeks ago a rider capsized my Sea Doo and was unable to turn the PWC upright on his own. When I was able to get back to him to help probably 10 minutes passed before it was uprighted. Due to a water patrol inspection I was unable to stop him from starting it and taking off. Everything worked fine though. Now I have a fogged up screen with no display visible. When I put the lanyard on I get two short beeps followed by a long beep. The unit starts and runs fine but with no display.

mine does exactly the same thing after capsizing. i took the unit apart and found water and corrosion. cleaned it up put it back in and nothing still. ordered new one, installed and new one died instantly. DON'T put a new one in until you find out what killed the other one. let me know if you come up with anything.

I'm looking for a solution to the very same problem. Mine, however, has not been capsized. No gauges or display but my little red light (in the exclamation symbol) blinks. And same beep pattern. I'm taking that advice to not replace it right away, very expensive. Currently, I have removed the storage cover and reconnected the gauge cluster to check the condition of wiring and connecters. so far, no obvious problems. And of course I've checked the fuses. I read that a fuse may appear good but not be. I intend to replace a couple fuses next. If I figure this out I'll certainly let you know.
