2001 Sea-Doo XP. New Owner!!

Hey everybody, I am the new owner of a 2001 XP! I am in love with it to say the least!! haha I had to travel quite aways to get it, but was totally worth it. The previous owner definitely cared for it. The body is in really nice shape, and the engine bay is very clean as well. Hoping some of you veteran owners can give me some advice with it. The ski seems to run perfect, it was the first ride of the season for it today. The only thing I noticed, was the speedometer would drop to zero sometimes when cruising. Anything I can check for that? Anyways, here's a picture of it in the water today, my cousin has an 03 XP DI. Hope its a great summer for riding!!

Im not a techie but I have experienced that the little wheel at the back can have dirt in it or just stop working for a second. Ive had mine stop once or twice I figured it did what most boats do since its the same setup.

How do you get by with no registration numbers, with my luck I would have a ticket in five minutes. Be very careful here they will impound your ski.

For some reason he only had em on the one side. I have to get another set for this side.
