Finally got my gauge issue figured out. Put the ski in the water to take a ride. Ran great then a loud screech from the back and rpms are high and speed is very low. Help!
Without examining your pump in person, I would say yes. It could be slipping on the splines due to worn out parts. Again that is without actually seeing the pump, wearing and carbon seal.
