2000 seadoo rx starter problem

The starter in my 2000 RX seems to be going out. It will start up just fine at first but the other day I shut it off at the dock and when I went to start it back for another ride it wouldn't turn over and just made a clicking noise. I got it out and took it home and the next day went out to see what was wrong but it started up? So thinking it was alright I took it out again and after about 20 minute I shut it off again and same clicking noise happened. any help or information would be much appreciated. seems like the starter goes out after the sea doo gets hot. IDK?

you battery may be going dead have had this happen to me many times

i just put a new battery in it the day it started having problems
