Took ski out again today, long continuous beep started again. Noticed slight grey smoke from exhaust. Idled for a minute or so on the water and then went off then came back on a few minutes later. I have already change the jet pump oil which manual says couldve been the issue because I assume the ski was overheating. Anyone have any other thoughts on what to check or change to make the beep go away?

Jet pump oil has nothing to do with the engine overheating. You have a clogged line or fitting somewhere.
Reverse flush the engine. Remove all lines and blow them out.
Remove the pump and look for blockages in the line comming off the pump.
Look for an excess salt buildup in each port.

A severely worn wear ring or impeller will prevent enough water pressure from reaching the engine.

When it beeps is the engine too hot to keep your hands on ? If so it could be the sensor getting weak. They sometimes go bad.

I'm on the forum on Facebook too, alot of people are saying the wear ring. Which lines should I undo and blow out though and what's the pump look like and where is it located?

Flush the engine on a hose. While it’s theoretically possible to overheat because of a wear ring I’ve never seen it. Even on a ski with the wear ring completely gone. You have a blockage. Check the small lines on the exhaust. In the future stay out of shallow water. Pull the head and look for sand in the water jackets around the cylinders. Also check the small line coming out of the bottom of the exhaust manifold that lets water out of your water jackets.

9 is the one I would suspect coming out of the bottom of the exhaust manifold. But it could be any of the small lines. I would pull the head and check for sand . If there’s a lot it won’t flush out.

Try flushing your engine first. Hook the hose into the rear of your ski. Start the motor. Have a second person by the water tap while u stay by the throttle to keep it running. Start ski , then turn the water on 1/4 turn. Run for maybe a minute tops, turn water off, then turn motor off. Never run water through it unless the motor is running. If at any time the motor dies turn water off immediately. Watch the pisser at the rear of the ski to see if water is shooting out. Let motor and carbon ring cool for 20 minutes. Repeat process. It may take several times to flush it out. If it’s not peeing from rear of ski shut water off , then shut motor off.

Well that’s good . Flush it several times 20 minutes apart . Then I would back it in the water . Leave it on the trailer and start it up and let it run. Feel the exhaust and the cylinders and see if they are heating up.

Ok well might've figured the problem out, all lines for the water intake under the seat were clogged up, BAD. Also the pisser was actually clogged too, but next question is, is the pisser water suppose to be warm?

Yes on the pee water. I would pull the head and check for sand in the water jackets if the lines were clogged that bad. It’s easy to pull . I’d pull it and check just for my own peace of mind.
